XB Open Interface Tom's
SC430
Toyota introduced the Lexus SC430 as the successor to the venerable Supra for
the 2006 Super GT season. With an aerodynamic body made of mostly carbon fiber
and a potent 4.8 liter V8 engine, the car proved itself to be a top contender
throughout the season. The final round at Fuji Speedway was the site of a
dramatic comeback as the Open Interface Tom's SC430 driven by Juichi Wakisaka
and Andre Lotterer to a 4th place finish that was just enough to squeeze past
their rivals and claim the championship. Tamiya now proudly brings you this
champion machine as an Expert Built R/C car on the proven TT-01 chassis. The
TT-01 chassis features a bathtub frame with the R/C mechanisms and battery
located low and flat for excellent balance and low center of gravity. 4-wheel
double wishbone suspension and front/rear differential gears provide smooth
handling performance. Stylish wheels equipped with racing slick tires ensure
plenty of grip for on-road racing. ●Length: 449mm ●Width: 191mm ●Height: 115mm ●Wheelbase: 257mm ●Type RS540 Motor included ●Drivetrain: Shaft-driven 4WD |
