Tamiya has had a long history of releasing R/C models of real-life World Rally Championship cars, and this year sees the announcement of the new Subaru Impreza WRC Monte Carlo ‘07 on our popular TT-01 chassis complete with eye-catching LED lights.

About the Subaru Impreza WRC 2007

The latest iteration of Subaru’s Impreza WRC rally car is outwardly not too different than the 2006 model. The main improvements are underneath the hood, with improved suspension geometry, a new turbo/intercooler, better weight distribution, and new differential settings for greater traction. There is also a new front bumper design to go along with the new intercooler. All of these enhancements aim to make the Impreza WRC 2007 a more responsive race car, and drivers Chris Atkinson and Peter Solberg have already attained positive results with 4th and 6th place finished respectively at Round 1 Monte Carlo.

About the Model     

• Lightweight and user-friendly TT-01 chassis for effortless assembly.

• 4WD shaft driven bathtub chassis with coil spring damped, 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and sealed front and rear differential gearbox.

• Drift-spec modifications include drift tires, special suspension tuning, full ball bearings, sport tuned motor, aluminum heat sink, CVA mini shock dampers and short springs.

• Includes electronic speed controller (TEU-101 BK) and type 540 motor.

• Includes LEDs for head and tail lights that turn on automatically when the car is switched on. Add the TLU-02 Light Control Unit (ITEM 53937) for greater control of light operations.

• Wide variety of tune-up parts are separately available to customize your machine.
